I would like to donate the money to Jeans for Genes – this way you can learn more about genes everyday! Check out their website at http://www.jeansforgenesday.org/disorders for more really interesting stuff!

Hi! I also support Jeans for Genes. They are such a great charity that support so many rare and common genetic diseases. I think we are encouraged to use the money to communicate science.

I would love to design and print out big posters with a selection of the best and most interesting questions asked and answered on here and send them out to all the schools taking part.

That way your teacher could put the posters up in your class and you could always be reminded of how much fun you had taking part, and learn about some of the most interesting topics. It would also remind you to take part next year! 😀

I would like to set up a day in all the labs across the university where I work to have children from lots of different schools come into the labs and meet the scientists. They could have a go at doing some experiments and seeing what we really do in the lab. Not many people get to meet scientists, and we don’t always get a chance to meet the scientists of the future – you guys! I think the best way to inspire people is to actually bring them to see the types of things that will interest them. I would have loved to go to a real lab when I was back at school! 🙂

It is a tough choice who to vote for. Lots of good responses and good ideas. I guess you just have to decide if you like our answers and found them helpful. I think I am glad I do not have to choose who to vote for!
