Well definitely biology! – so I would say either double or triple science! It’s also good to have good maths, as you might have to do a bit of maths. English would be good as scientists have to be able to write up their findings. I think a foreign language and geography would be a bonus too because it would allow you to explore marine biology in other countries. Good luck! Such an interesting topic!
Yup, I agree with Joanna, either double or triple science and the others mentioned. It’s worth checking out any universities that you might be interested in to see what their requirements are as they can be quite different depending on the exact course structure. Yes, I would defintely do as much science as you can, and maths. Science involves a lot of maths sometimes! Geography might also be very good to have with science as well. My cousin is a marine biologist and she did science and geography (as well as her other GCSEs), then did A-levels in science and environmental science where she studied ecosystems a bit more. She loves her job and gets to do some very cool stuff! Good luck! 🙂
