      Wow, what a question!

If we knew the meaning of life, I’m sure we could achieve a LOT. We would know what to do all day and how to focus our time to fulfil the meaning…but then that might be a bit frustrating or boring? I think I prefer the mystery of it all! What do you think?

Wow indeed! I think you must be a very imaginative and philosophical person? I don’t think I have ever really thought about it but I am with Jo and hope it remains a mystery forever!

If I knew the meaning of life I think I would have to think very hard about what other important questions I could research and try and answer. I certainly would not want to retire!

One great thing about science is that every time you answer one question, it makes you think of other questions that need to be answered.

I can see the appeal of knowing the meaning of life, but I think once the cat is out of the bag so to speak, everyone would know and it oviously be passed down through the generations. I think it’s quite nice to keep the mystery. Also, there may not be a meaning, that would be pretty boring. I’d rather not know and make up my own one! 🙂
