• Question: what do you think the best invention is?

      I think the best invention may have been the internet. When I think l back to when we didn’t have it, it was a lot harder to do everything! Without the internet we wouldn’t be able to answer your questions for you today – we might be writing letters!
      The amount of information that is available to us now is incredible. It has actually changed the world we live in as well. The way we access information and how we spend our free time has now changed quite drastically. I don’t think I could live without it now, it makes so much of life much easier! 🙂

      I agree! I don’t think society would survive now without the internet – it is now essential to so many day to day activities. Plus it now means I can do my food shopping online and have it delivered so no need to go to the supermarket – yeah!

      Sorry to not be more original, but….Definitely, the internet and the mobile phone. I don’t feel THAT old, but the difference between when I was at school and now because of these two things is just amazing.

      When I started University I was given an email address, but I didn’t know anyone else with email that I could write to. Now, I don’t think I know anyone who doesn’t have email.

      Yes! The internet – and then also computers! It’s crazy how phones are mini computers these days, and I feel lost without it! But then cameras are awesome too, I love how they can capture moments and then you look back on things and it helps you remember things more clearly. Technology is amazing!
