• Question: Is it possible to make a force field like in Halo or to teleport?

      Definitely not my area of expertise.

      I have got a friend working on lasers that trys to teleport stuff over short distances, but it has to be super cold (-180oC) to work, so not so useful.

      never say never, thats why we need new budding scientists to ask these questions!

      I have heard about quantum physics experiments that make a sub-atomic particle like an electron teleport. But being able to do that to all the cells in our body at the same time and recreate our body somewhere else might be too complicated to achieve. But then again, lots of things that seem unbelievable become true eventually (flying for example) so you never know.

      Wish it were possible though as it would improve my current 1 hour commute!
