      so I look at DNA damage that gets in the way of ‘cars’ that read DNA. so the types of roadblocks that i look at are differnt DNA damages.

      DNA becomes damaged when it is chemically altered. sometimes its just like a pothole in the road, that you can go over but still makes the car jump. these are small chemical modifications to the DNA. the roadblocks are where the DNA is modified linking one bit of DNA to another it so that it can no longer be unzipped to be read. this damage is super dangerous and im looking at how it can be sensed and then repaired
