I’ve never been to the big bang science festival – it’s quite new I think so I wasn’t able to go when I was in school. I am very keen to go now though, it’s just always been a bit far away from me.

If you are interested in science I would highly recommend it! Even though I haven’t been to that one, I have been to similar types of things and they are really great because you can meet loads of people who love science and want to talk to you about all their super interesting topics!

I hope you get to go and I hope you enjoy it!

I have never been to the Big Bang Science Festival but I am hoping to go next year! I have been to lots of other science festivals though. There is always lots going on up here in Manchester and we have lots of science museums that always have a lot going on. I helped out in a few events in National Science Week, and it was great fun! I really like talking to the public about science, from kids like you guys to little children who just want to play and then to parents and grandparents who come along to find out about what science is all about. Science festivals are great and when you see how many people come it reminds you that people really are interested in science and you don’t just have to be a geek to like it or to find out more about it! Ther are always lots of noises and colours, things you can have a go at, microscopes to look down, real organs to play with and look at and also lots of cool machines to play with! Make sure you go to any that are on near you, I’m sure you will really enjoy them! 🙂

Go! I still enjoy going as an adult! Don’t forget that even though the main event is held in London there are events also held at most major cities. They even have competitions for you and your school friends to enter so you never know you might even win a prize!
