• Question: How long have you had your guinea pigs?

      I have had Smudge and Spike for about 2 years now. Before that I had another pair called Tiger and Mouse but sadly they both died 🙁 When I was younger I had pet rabbits and guinea pigs – one of my rabbits called Ruby (who turned out to be a boy) lived for over 9 years!!!! The next rabbit I got was called Chester but someone stole her from my garden when i was at university which made me very sad. Guinea pigs are very cool as they have their own language – they can “pop corn” which is when they jump up and down and they do it when they are excited and its very funny to watch!

      I don’t have any pets as I grew up in a house full of allergic asthmatics. But at least I have never had to clean up after them!

      I don’t have guinea pigs but I do have cats. Cats are very independent and always like to do just what they want to, but they are very affectionate and do love cuddles as well! And boy do they sleep a lot! They have a great life! 🙂

    I have two guinea pigs called Jasper and Leon, they sometimes jump around when their excited, and I’ve had them for nearly two years now. Apperently their teeth fall out, so if your picking up white tiny sharp things, thats what it is! I heard that Guinea pigs live for around 7 years.

    Hi! They are nice names – I never knew that about their teeth so I have learnt something new today – thanks! My guinea pig called Spike is very fat and steals all the food from Smudge who is like a ninja and really fast and musclely so they are very different. Spike is also very noisy when drinking which can be a bit annoying when we are watching tv but I wouldn’t be without them! I hope they do live for 7 years….
