Yes! I don’t watch it all the time, but I do watch it if it’s on.
Forensic science is really interesting and a lot of the techniques they use (or pretend to use, should I say!) are similar to what I do – like getting DNA from blood and amplifying it over and over again so that they can analyse it!
Yes it’s possible! (Maybe not for CSI themselves, but there are lots of jobs like that in the UK and all over the world). You would need to do science at A-level – I think Biology would be the best and if you can, I would do chemistry too. I think IT would be helpful too, because lots of the newer machines are based on computers and a lot of computer analysis. Then you could apply to University to do a degree in Forensic science. It would be very interesting, and an important job!
