Not now …… I think I did know most of it at some point when I was at school. We had a song that was sung to us through a TV program which really helped to remember it – I will see if I can find it on u-tube and post a link later!
Yeah, I think I knew roundabouts where everything was and the first 20-30 were easy to remember. Real life chemists probably know if off by heart but you can always refer to it anyway.
I never knew the whole table but look what Daniel Radcliffe can do!! 🙂
I don’t know it all (especially now. Could remember more when I was a chemistry student, but now I focus on genetics and biology). But recently one of my brothers and I were doing some online quizzes and one was to name elements. We managed 88 out of 118 in the timelimit (10 minutes I believe). Can you do better?
We are all biologists, so we only reall need to know about a few elements. the human body is 99% carbon, nitrogen, calcium, phosphorus, oxygen and hydrogen.
In total there are 30 elements in the human body and 46 in a mobile phone!
