• Question: Could we ever sit on a cloud?

      I wish we could! That would be so cool! A great way to relax!
      But the density of the cloud is not enough to allow us to sit on it – A cloud is a lot of tiny droplets of water and so it is even less dense than a pond, and obviously we can’t sit on water either.

      They should really change that saying “I’m on cloud 9” shouldn’t they? Doesn’t make any sense!

      Im afraid not, its just made up of water vapor, like the steam that comes out of your kettle. if you could fly thenn you could but then youd be too busy flying around!

      I also say no to this. But given that a cloud is water vapour, even if we could it would be very cold and wet!
